Description

Brazil's Marta, often referred to as the greatest ever female football player, was chasing history once again when she took part in her fifth FIFA Women's World Cup during the 2019 tournament in France. She needed one goal to become the only player, for both men and women, to score in five editions of the World Cup and two to become the player with the most goals in World Cup history with 17 total.
