Bula FC capitalized early, building a two goals lead through a close-range finish by Thomas Dunn and a swift counter-attack goal from Kaile Auvray. However, Ati Kepo quickly pulled one back for PNG Hekari just before the break with a sharp strike from the edge of the box.
