Aurora has partnered for this project with Football Beyond Borders (FBB) a UK based education and social inclusion charity, using the power of football to change the lives of young people. The FBB Girls’ programme helps girls to improve their social and emotional skills, mental wellbeing, confidence and academic success. Delivered by a culturally competent, mainly female disciplinary team, the programme starts by looking at the self; low-self esteem can often be at the root of many of the difficulties teenage girls face.
