Tupapa Maraerenga FC from the Cook Islands secured their spot in the OFC Men's Champions League with a thrilling victory over Samoa's Vaipuna SC. Despite an early goal from Vaipuna's Timoteo Lesatele, Tupapa rallied, with striker Jake McCoy scoring twice, including a goal in first-half stoppage time, to give his team the lead. Despite Vaipuna's efforts in the second half and several impressive saves from Tupapa goalkeeper Manaariki Pierre, the Cook Islands team held on for the win. Tupapa will now compete in Group B of the Champions League in the Solomon Islands next month.
