Powered by a brace each from twins Aronui and Aroarii Bennett, Tahiti ended their Group A campaign with a victory over the Cook Islands. The Bennett brothers were instrumental early, with a combined three goals in the first 25 minutes and Aronui Bennett completed his double late in the match.
