Fiji’s Suva FC claimed fifth place with a 4-3 comeback victory over Papua New Guinea’s Gulf Komara FC, overturning a two-goal deficit in front of their home crowd. Gulf Komara still searching for their first win, made a blistering start with two goals from Ezekiel Vela and their strongest first-half display of the tournament but Suva shifted the momentum just before the break through a long-range strike from Deepal Singh. Suva equalised early in the second half via Nikil Chand and despite briefly falling behind again, responded immediately through Filipe Baravilala before Merrill Nand completed the turnaround with a tidy finish off the right post. Gulf Komara pushed for a late equaliser but Suva held firm to match their fifth-place finish from the 2019 inaugural edition, ending their campaign on a high note.
