New Zealand secured their spot in the semi-finals of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™ Oceania Qualifiers with a dominant victory over the host nation, Solomon Islands. New Zealand took control right from the start, building a comfortable lead through opening strikes from Milly Clegg and Indiah-Paige Riley, followed by a goal from Hannah Blake. As the match progressed, New Zealand's relentless attack proved too much for the Solomon Islands defence, Grace Jale scored from distance while Blake netted an excellent volley and a composed breakaway finish to complete her hat-trick. Pia Vlok added to the tally and Clegg capped off the emphatic win by securing her second goal of the match.
