Fiji v New Caledonia | Semi-finals | OFC U-19 Women's Championship | Highlights
01 Oct 2025, 2 minutes 29 seconds
New Caledonia made history with victory over Fiji, sealing their first-ever qualification for FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup and a place in the final of the OFC U-19 Women’s Championship 2025. Fiji dominated much of the play and fashioned the better chances but were repeatedly denied by an inspired performance from goalkeeper Elizabeth Aben, who proved unbeatable on the day. The breakthrough came just before the hour mark when New Caledonia’s Kheiméra Gondou pounced on a loose clearance to fire home before Aziliz Naaoutchoue doubled the lead from close range after a free-kick rebounded off the crossbar.
