Synopsis
Captains is an eight part documentary series which offers a uniquely personal perspective on the jeopardy and joy of attempting to lead your country to the World Cup. We follow six remarkable players over the course of their journey through qualification for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. By following a high profile leader from each confederation, we are able to get a truly diverse and global view of what it means to be captain.
