New Zealand defeated New Caledonia 4-2 to advance to the final and secure a spot in the FIFA U-17 World Cup. New Caledonia continued to pressure New Zealand but the second half saw a turning point when goals from Amelia Hitchcock and Mia Humphrey gave New Zealand a two-goal lead.
